Brian Mark, CFO and Vice President
Brian Mark, the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of DBR & Associates, LLC has been with the company since 1997 when he was hired as the Controller.
Brian earned his CPA license in 1995 and entered the public accounting field where he gained tremendous experience in analyzing and evaluating various companies' accounting and control procedures. In 1997, with a strong desire to put his CPA experience to work, he joined DBR. Over the course of the next few years, Brian was able to build a strong accounting department and develop the internal control processes necessary to ensure the highest quality financial reporting.
In 2004, Brian was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of DBR, with the responsibility of overseeing all facets of the financial performance of the company and laying the groundwork for the future development of the company as it continues to take on an aggressive growth strategy. His new role has also expanded into Acquisitions of new properties, whereby he is in charge of pursuing and managing this process. He oversees the due-diligence procedures in all acquisitions in order to verify and confirm that the underlying assumptions of each project are well supported and accurate.
Born December 6, 1970, Brian graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Economics. He spent the next two years earning a Masters of Science in Accounting from The American University in Washington, D.C.
